Who we are

Emphatic Labs ("we", "us") operates this website. If you have any question about this policy, email quinngifford@emphaticlab.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us. If you submit the contact form or email us about a role, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you put in the message — including anything in a résumé or portfolio link you send.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site and we do not sell personal information.

How we use it

To reply to you, to evaluate your application if you are applying for a role, and to keep basic records of that correspondence. That's it. We don't use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need in order to run — our website host and our email provider. They process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

General enquiries are kept for as long as they're useful and then deleted. Applications are kept for up to 12 months so we can get back in touch if a suitable role opens up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email quinngifford@emphaticlab.com and we'll act on the request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Our host may record standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and reliability.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.

To the extent the law allows, Emphatic Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.
